Details below.

Fred Peterson came to Dry Creek Valley in 1983, working to find and develop world-class vineyard properties. It was an exciting time for Fred, being able to select ideal vineyard locations and then plant the appropriate grape variety and clone for each site. The vineyards Fred developed in Dry Creek Valley (Sonoma County), including on Bradford Mountain, began producing amazing fruit. The next step was a natural one;
Fred wanted to make wine from the fruits of his labor
(Sorry about the pun, it was too good to pass up).

In 1987, all the pieces fell into place for Fred, and he launched Peterson Winery. For nearly twenty years, the winery was located in an old, red barn tucked away in the vineyards off of Lytton Springs Road. It was beautiful place to make wine, but the antique structure began to show its age. In late 2005, Fred seized an opportunity to move into a newer facility on Dry Creek Road, at Timber Crest Farms. This new, more convenient location offers more offices and space, plus a room for visitors to taste the wines.

Over the years, Fred has befriended grape growers who share his goals and values; to grow grapes that reflect a sense of place. The Dry Creek Valley encompasses one of the greatest ranges of microclimates for such a small area in the world, making it possible to grow many grape varieties, with world-class quality. Peterson Winery now makes an average of 8000 cases annually, all in many small lots from the like-minded growers he now calls his friends.

We are now featuring a "Wine of the Month" that we will have open for $2.00 pours all month long. Similar to the "try before you buy" program. The first wine will be the Joseph Carr
2015 Napa Cabernet.
Normally $31.99 - Now $26.99.
10% off on 6 or more bottles.

Check out our large selection of high end and hard to find wines including Joseph Phelps Insignia, Opus One, Biondi Santi, Romitorio, Tignanello, Sassacaia and many more....including a large selection of big format bottles.

Please remember that small businesses depend on your patronage. If each of us spent $100 a year more on local businesses instead of chain stores, it would put an extra $3 MILLION a year into our local economy and would create thousands more jobs every year!!!!

We will taste the following wines this Saturday

2016 Redwood Glen Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc - $25.99
Citrus infuses the entry with lemon, lime and just a trace of pomelo, while a delicious tropical fruit mix and traces of floral appear mid-palate to merge and linger with the bright flavors.
2017  Dry Creek Valley Rosé - $25.99
The vivid wild berry, melon and white floral nose aptly express the luscious flavors that follow. An ideal balance of mouthwatering acidity and a creamy texture start and finish the wine. The palate fills with bright raspberry, dried strawberry and tart cherry, along with hints of watermelon and floral.
2012 Tollini Vineyard, Mendocino ZERO MANIPULATION - $26.99
This easy-quaffing blend has just enough kick to please a hearty red drinker and the smooth edges and delicious forward fruit to keep the mellow red drinkers happy, too. The nose offers a balance of rustic aromas and dark toned fruit, hinting at the wine’s structure. The smooth entry quickly reveals dark cherry, cranberry, plum and goji berries wrapped in a luscious layer of spice
2012 Bradford Mountain Estate Vineyard
Cabernet Sauvignon - $46.99
A smooth entry quickly reveals the luscious flavors of black currant, blackberry and dark cherry edged with mocha and chocolate. Spicy cedar and a mineral essence make their appearance mid-palate, lifting and brightening the flavors as they flow into a long finish.
2012 Dry Creek Valley ZINFANDEL TRADIZIONALE - $36.99
This Zin offers seductive aromatics of bright brambly berry with hints of dusty tannins and vanillin oak that entice that first sip. As soon as you taste the rich, juicy flavors, you’re hooked. A deliciously smooth entry bursts with perfectly vine-ripened wild blackberries mixed with dark cherry, plum and black raspberry.

Tasting is $12.00 per person or $20 per couple.
